Police have issued separate appeals for public assistance to locate two missing women from the North Coast, with concerns held for both due to their individual circumstances.
Sixteen-year-old Bella Coppi was last seen in Port Macquarie about 9pm on Sunday 5 April 2026. Officers attached to the Newcastle City Police District were notified and have commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police say there are concerns for Bella’s welfare due to her age.
Bella is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build, with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing black shorts or tracksuit pants, a black oversized hoodie, a black Nike backpack and black and white sneakers.
She is believed to frequent the Newcastle, Port Macquarie and Grafton areas.
In a separate matter, police are also appealing for information to help locate 50-year-old Alison McKelvey, who was last seen in the Tweed Heads and Coolangatta area on Thursday 19 March 2026.

Officers attached to the Tweed/Byron Police District were notified on Wednesday 24 March 2026 after she could not be located or contacted, and inquiries into her whereabouts are ongoing.
Police hold concerns for Alison’s welfare as she lives with a medical condition.
Alison is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, with short brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black singlet, grey shorts, a blue cap and black thongs.
She is known to frequent the Tweed Heads and Coolangatta areas.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of either Bella Coppi or Alison McKelvey is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
