From little things, big things grow.
For the past decade, ArtWalk has brought the Port Macquarie community together through creativity, connection and shared experiences.
What started as a small showcase of local artists has grown into the region’s flagship community event, thanks to the passion and support of artists, performers, schools, community groups, businesses, volunteers and visitors.
Today, ArtWalk features projections, light installations, live music, more than 100 artists and performers, and a diverse program of activities that reflects the talent and spirit of our community.
Each year, thousands of people gather in the town centre to celebrate local creativity, discover something new and connect with one another. ArtWalk has become more than an arts event — it is a celebration of the people, stories and partnerships that make Port Macquarie such a vibrant place to live and visit.
“As we mark this 10-year milestone, we celebrate everyone who has played a part in ArtWalk’s journey and helped it grow into the much-loved event it is today,” said Port Macquarie Hastings Council.
Interactive map supports a more accessible and connected experience
To help visitors plan their evening and explore everything ArtWalk has to offer, an interactive map has been developed featuring the locations of installations, projections, artists, performers and community activities across the event.
Designed for easy use on mobile devices, the map helps visitors navigate the event and connect with the experiences that interest them most. Accessibility features include the locations of public toilets and accessible parking spaces, helping ensure ArtWalk can be enjoyed by as many people as possible.
Visitors can also click on the black dots (⚫) throughout the map to view more information about ArtWalk’s live music program.

A colour-coded legend on the left-hand side of the map highlights food outlets, art installations, performances, children’s activities and the free shuttle bus service, making it easier for everyone to plan their evening and enjoy the event together.
“We can’t wait to celebrate this remarkable milestone with you on 5 June. See you at ArtWalk!”
