Boaties on the Mid North Coast have access to improved maritime facilities following the completion of the $10.5 million Crowdy Head Boat Harbour upgrade.
Construction began in September 2025 and included a new floating pontoon berthing facility with 19 vessel berths.
The facility can accommodate a range of vessel types and provides access to electricity and potable water.
The NSW Government says the project forms part of its ongoing investment in renewing boating infrastructure and improving access to safe and modern maritime facilities across the state.
NSW Maritime Executive Director Nicole Watts said the upgrade would provide boaties with a more versatile maritime facility.
“This project forms part of the NSW Government’s focus on renewing and improving boating infrastructure across NSW, ensuring boaters have access to safe, reliable and modern facilities,” said Watts.
“Crowdy Head is a safe and accessible harbour with no coastal bar to cross, making it an attractive location for vessel owners looking for secure berthing options on the Mid North Coast.
“The new facility provides 19 vessel berths and modern infrastructure to support a range of vessel types, creating a better experience for both local boaters and visitors to the region.”
