A new voice for the North Coast is about to arrive. North Coast Times is coming soon, delivering real local news, paywall-free, from the Great Lakes to the Northern Rivers.
At a time when local journalism is disappearing, North Coast Times is committed to telling the stories that matter most to our communities. From council decisions and coastal developments to grassroots events, local heroes, and the big issues shaping life along our region’s towns and beaches.
Fiercely independent and fearless in pursuit of the truth, North Coast Times is not owned by distant corporations or beholden to political interests. Our mission is simple: inform, investigate and celebrate our region with integrity and passion. Whether it’s breaking news, in-depth investigations, or features that capture the heart of local life, our coverage will always be free to read and grounded in the voices of the people who live here.
We’re also building a newsroom that belongs to the community, just like we did with New England Times. Freelance journalists, photographers, and writers who want to be part of a bold new era of local news are encouraged to get in touch. And if you’re passionate about supporting local business and want to help us grow, we’re also inviting expressions of interest for sales roles on our expanding team. Find out more here.
