Lismore is set to come alive this August with the launch of a major new regional event, with the Lismore Outdoor Adventure plus Home & Lifestyle Expo to debut at the Lismore Showgrounds from 14–16 August 2026.

The event marks a welcome return of large-scale outdoor and leisure exhibitions to the region, bringing together a mix of caravanning, camping, home improvement and lifestyle inspiration under one roof.

Delivered by national organiser Australian Events, the three-day expo is designed to appeal to both Northern Rivers locals and visitors, showcasing the latest in caravans, campers, hybrid trailers, boats, 4×4 vehicles and accessories, alongside outdoor living innovations and home renovation ideas.

The event also forms part of the continued revitalisation of the Lismore Showgrounds as a key events destination, joining a growing calendar that includes Lismore Gemfest, Primex Field Days, Tropical Fruits, Lismore Speedway and LisAmore! in 2026.

North Coast National A and I Society President John Gibson said the return of a large-scale outdoor and lifestyle event reflects growing momentum for both the Showgrounds and the broader region.

“It’s fantastic to see a major outdoor and lifestyle event return to Lismore,” he said.

“The community has always supported these types of events, and bringing something new to the Showgrounds helps reinforce Lismore’s role as a regional events hub.”

“With events like Primex and LisAmore! moving to the Showgrounds, this expo adds to a strong and growing program that is putting Lismore firmly back on the map for major regional events.”

Australian Events General Manager Aly Ryan said the expo is designed to deliver a strong visitor experience while providing value for exhibitors.

“Lismore is a strong, community-minded region, and this event brings together everything from outdoor adventure and camping to home styling and renovation,” she said.

“We’re looking forward to delivering an event that locals can enjoy and visitors will travel to experience.”

“For businesses, this is a highly engaged regional audience with a genuine interest in outdoor living and home improvement.”

“It’s a great opportunity to connect directly with customers who are ready to invest.”
