A new Inverell business is carrying on the legacy of a well-known local tradesman, with a team determined to continue the standards and workmanship he became known for.
C & H Precision Plastering was founded by Matthew Courts and Ben Hawthorne last year, following the tragic and early passing of Matthew’s father, Tim Courts. Tim had operated his plastering business for many years and was well known throughout the Inverell community for both his work and his character.
“Matt & I wanted to carry the legacy on and continue his work,” Ben Hawthorne said.
C & H Precision Plastering services Inverell and the wider New England area, offering plastering services for new builds, renovations and repair work across both residential and commercial projects.
The business handles projects both large and small, with the team focusing on delivering premium workmanship and reliable service.
“C & H Precision Plastering do new builds, renovations, big jobs and small,” Ben said.
“We do premium work and pride ourselves on our work ethic and results.”
Their still new Facebook page is already quickly filling with photos and videos showcasing the team’s work, including everything from large houses and duplexes to expansive ceilings and detailed cornice work.
The foundations of the business are closely tied to the lessons and standards Tim Courts passed on during his years in the trade.
“Over the 15 years we worked together, we completed hundreds of projects, shared countless laughs, and faced plenty of tough times side by side.”
“Through it all, Tim’s commitment to quality and his pride in the job never wavered,” Ben said.
