Overnight roadworks to affect Pacific Motorway access at West Ballina

Motorists travelling north on the Pacific Motorway at West Ballina are being advised to expect changed traffic conditions next week as essential pavement maintenance gets underway.

Work will begin on Monday, 12 October, and continue for two nights between 7pm and 3am, weather permitting.

During the works, the northbound slip lane providing access to the BP Ballina Travel Centre will be temporarily closed.

A detour via the Bruxner Highway will be in place for northbound motorists needing to access the service centre.

Drivers are advised to allow an additional five minutes of travel time, drive to conditions and follow all traffic signs and directions from traffic controllers.

Transport for NSW has thanked motorists for their patience while the maintenance work is carried out.

Further information is available through the Live Traffic NSW website, the Live Traffic NSW app or by calling 132 701.

Motorists can also receive updates directly to their phones by searching for ‘West Ballina’ in the Live Traffic NSW app, selecting the incident and clicking ‘Follow’.
