Residents of Lennox Head will benefit from new services, local jobs, and greater convenience following the opening of a new commercial and retail building at Epiq Marketplace.

The project, delivered by Clarence Property as part of its $250 million Epiq master-planned community, adds eight new tenancies across 720 square metres and increases the centre’s total lettable area to 6,168 square metres. Built by local contractor Bennett Constructions, the development has also supported regional construction employment while expanding the services available close to home for local families.

As Lennox Head and the wider Ballina Shire continue to experience strong population growth, demand for everyday services, retail, and community spaces has risen sharply. The expansion of Epiq Marketplace aims to meet that demand, strengthening the centre’s role as a local hub where residents can shop, access services, and connect.

“Epiq Marketplace has evolved into a central meeting place for the Lennox Head community,” said Simon Kennedy, CEO of Clarence Property.

“With this expansion, we not only bolster the variety of retail options but also introduce additional service offerings and convenience at the centre. This development directly caters to the pressing need for modern, strategically located business premises that drive local employment, services, and investment.”

The broader Epiq development has been designed to support the needs of a growing community. The precinct already includes more than 450 homes, sporting fields, a childcare centre, and the neighbourhood shopping centre, creating a mixed-use environment where residents can live, work, and access services locally.

Further housing is also underway, with stage one of the Epiq Terrace Houses development progressing toward completion by late 2026. Stage two is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2026, adding additional housing supply as demand continues to grow across the Northern Rivers region.

Education infrastructure is also expanding nearby, with works commencing on the relocation of Lennox Head Public School and the construction of a new public preschool. The projects are expected to strengthen access to education and support families moving into the area.

Together, the retail expansion and surrounding infrastructure projects highlight the continued evolution of Epiq as a connected neighbourhood, providing essential services, employment opportunities, and community spaces for the growing Lennox Head population.
