Changed traffic conditions on Boyds Bay Bridge at Tweed Heads South

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on Boyds Bay Bridge on Minjungbal Drive at Tweed Heads South while marine navigational lights and solar panels are maintained.

Work will be carried out over two night shifts on Monday, 27 July, and Tuesday, 28 July, between 6 pm and 5 am, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be in place, including a slow lane closure and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h, to ensure the safety of workers and motorists.

The northbound off-ramp to Kennedy Drive will be closed during work hours. Motorists can detour via Wharf Street, Boyd Street and Florence Street to access Kennedy Drive from the southbound off-ramp.

Motorists should allow up to five extra minutes of travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers.

Oversize and overmass (OSOM) vehicles wider than 4.6 metres intending to travel through the work site must contact the project team on 0408 417 874 before travelling.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this work.
