Classic cars, music, and two major adrenaline-fuelled events are set to take over Coffs Harbour on the weekend of 13 to 15 March.
You can soak up the retro vibes at Summer Beach Hop, with classic cars, live music and dancing lighting up the City Centre on Saturday and the Jetty Foreshore on Sunday.
On the Saturday night of 14 March, feel the rush as Freestyle Kings LIVE hits the City of Coffs Harbour’s C.ex Coffs International Stadium with the world’s best FMX and BMX riders delivering stunts, fire, music and full-throttle family entertainment.
Across the full weekend, motorsport fans can catch Round 1 of the Australian Kart Championship, attracting elite drivers from Australia, New Zealand and Asia as they battle it out trackside in Coffs Harbour.
Three major events. One big weekend. For visitors, book a short stay and experience Coffs Coast in full throttle mode.
“The diversity and richness of what we have to offer here is our ace card. Yes, we have famous beaches, inviting waterways everywhere you look and subtropical rainforests to explore, but we also have a jam-packed events schedule,” Mayor Nikki Williams said.
“This motoring-themed extended weekend will be a high-octane blast for locals and visitors alike.”
Beyond the headline events, car buffs can keep the engines running all weekend long with immersive motoring experiences across the Coffs Coast.
Step inside the National Holden Motor Museum and National Cartoon Gallery, co-located in the Bunker Gallery, where rare Australian motoring history meets iconic pop culture.
From the 13 to 15 March weekend, see the legendary Anderson Holden, widely regarded as Australia’s first purpose-built Holden-powered racing car, alongside classic favourites like the Sandman, Monaro and HR sedan, plus a new permanent exhibition of Holden-inspired cartoons from the 2024 Rotary Cartoon Awards.

For those who want to experience the thrill first-hand, Coffs Harbour Trike and Private Tours offers on-road adventures, from coastal trike rides to fully hosted group tours, showcasing the region’s landscapes.
“It’s an irresistible buffet of things to see and do for those who love the revs and we anticipate that many will travel from across the East Coast to take full advantage of these special events aligning,” City Events, Sport and Cultural Services Group Leader Sharon McDougall said.
“Freestyle Kings LIVE will be in Coffs as part of a world tour, while the opening round of the Australian Kart Championship will attract an international field and help to turbocharge the local economy.
“We expect a number of visitors travelling from further afield will tack on some extra days to see more of what Coffs has to offer.”
