A full weekend of free live music, food, and markets is set to draw crowds to Byron Bay this Easter, with three major market events running back-to-back across the long weekend.

Byron Markets will host events from Friday through Sunday, offering visitors and locals a mix of live performances, local makers, and food in a relaxed coastal setting.

Markets Manager Carl Taylor said the Easter program is designed to give people plenty to enjoy, even if their plans have changed.

“Even if plans have changed, visitors can still enjoy a full weekend of live music in Byron,” Mr Taylor said.

“Our markets are offering free performances across the entire Easter long weekend, giving locals and visitors the chance to soak up incredible local talent in a relaxed, welcoming setting.”

The weekend kicks off on Good Friday with the Byron Beachside Market at Main Beach, featuring artisan stalls alongside live music from Tony Mango, Hayley Grace, and Guy Kachel.

On Saturday evening, the Byron Twilight Market will transform Railway Park from 4pm to 9pm, with live music continuing into the night.

The celebrations wrap up on Easter Sunday with the Byron Community Market, where visitors can enjoy more live performances alongside stalls and food offerings.

“Live music has always been at the heart of our markets, and this Easter we’re proud to offer a full weekend of performances that celebrate local artists and bring people together,” Mr Taylor said.

“Whether you are a visitor or a local, there is something here for everyone to enjoy.”

Sunday’s lineup includes performances from Cos Micos, The Happy Africa Band, and Mark Chapman, rounding out a weekend aimed at showcasing local talent and community spirit.

The markets are run by the Byron Community Centre as a not-for-profit social enterprise, with proceeds supporting local community programs and services.
