The much-loved Coffs Harbour Agricultural Show 2026 is set to return to the Coffs Harbour Showgrounds on May 1–2, promising a vibrant weekend that blends tradition, entertainment, and community spirit.
Show President and Secretary Kay Hamilton said the annual event continues to hold a special place on the local calendar, offering something for everyone – from lifelong locals to first-time visitors.
“The Coffs Harbour Agricultural Show is a vibrant community event that celebrates local agriculture, creativity, and entertainment,” she said. “It’s a mix of traditional country show experiences—like livestock, competitions, and woodchopping – alongside modern attractions, making it enjoyable for all ages.”
This year’s show carries the theme “Women in Agriculture, Cultivating the Future,” shining a spotlight on the vital role women play in shaping the industry. Hamilton said the theme adds an extra layer of meaning to an already diverse program.
“This year’s theme… is really special, and I’m excited to see that recognised across the event,” she said.
Crowd favourites are set to return alongside a packed schedule of attractions. Among the highlights are Outback Jack’s Stockman’s Show, a live cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Matt Donovan, The Supertank Fishing Show, and the ever-popular fireworks display on Saturday night.

“The mix of attractions like the Silent Disco, LEGO exhibition, Duellists fencing demonstration, Zumba with Pauline, Bunnings Put Put, Steve’s Reptile World, Macdonalds Petting Farm, means there’s something for everyone,” Hamilton said.
While the show itself spans two lively days, months of preparation go on behind the scenes to bring it all together. Hamilton described the lead-up as a major collaborative effort involving volunteers, vendors, performers, and local organisations.
“The lead-up is incredibly busy and involves months of planning and coordination,” she said. “The team works closely with volunteers, vendors, performers, and local groups to organise events, competitions, and logistics. From setting up the Coffs Harbour Showgrounds to finalising schedules, it’s a real team effort to make sure everything runs smoothly.”
At its heart, the show remains a celebration of community, drawing together people from across the region in a shared experience that reflects the character of the North Coast.
“My favourite part is seeing people of all ages come together and enjoy the event – families, farmers, students, and local businesses all in one place,” Hamilton said. “Watching the Pavilion fill with entries and seeing the smiles during the events really shows how strong the community spirit is.”
For Hamilton, one moment each year perfectly captures that spirit.
“One of my favourite memories is seeing the Grand Parade and the excitement it brings to the crowd, especially followed in the evening by the fireworks display,” she said. “It’s always a special moment that captures the energy and pride of the whole community.”
With its mix of agricultural tradition, family-friendly entertainment, and a strong sense of local pride, the 2026 Coffs Harbour Agricultural Show is shaping up to be another standout event on the North Coast calendar.
