Changed traffic conditions for essential road maintenance in Grafton

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on local roads in Grafton as essential maintenance work is carried out over the next two weeks.

Work will take place at night between 7pm and 5am at the following locations, with detours in place:

  • Villiers Street, between Pound and Oliver streets, from Thursday 11 June to Sunday 14 June. Detour via Duke and Oliver streets.
  • Villiers Street, between Oliver and Dobie streets, from Tuesday 16 June to Thursday 18 June. Detour via Prince and Oliver streets.
  • Dobie Street, between Prince and Villiers streets, on Sunday 21 June and Monday 22 June. Detour via Prince and Oliver streets.
  • Prince Street, between Bacon and Dobie streets, on Tuesday 23 June and Wednesday 24 June. Detour via Bacon and Queen streets to Dobie Street.

Access to properties within the closed work areas will be maintained under the direction of traffic controllers.

Motorists should allow up to five minutes of additional travel time. Drivers are reminded to observe speed limits and follow the directions of traffic controllers and signage.

Oversize and overmass (OSOM) vehicles wider than 4.6 metres travelling through the area at night should contact the project team on 0497 432 661 before travel.
