Destination North Coast and the NSW Tourism Association have announced the finalists for the 2026 North Coast Regional Tourism Awards, recognising businesses, experiences and individuals across the region’s visitor economy.
The awards recognise tourism operators across a range of categories, including accommodation, attractions, tours, festivals and events, food and beverage experiences, and ecotourism.
Finalists will progress through the awards program before the NSW Tourism Awards later this year. State winners may be eligible to compete at the Australian Tourism Awards in 2027.
NSW Tourism Association chief executive officer Natalie Godward congratulated the finalists.
“Being named a finalist is a significant accomplishment and a reflection of the passion, professionalism and commitment these businesses bring to our regional visitor economies every day.” she said.
“The North Coast continues to be one of Australia’s most sought-after destinations, and these finalists represent the very best of what the region has to offer. They are creating memorable visitor experiences, driving innovation and helping to strengthen the reputation of New South Wales as a world-class tourism destination.
“On behalf of NSW Tourism Association, I congratulate every finalist and thank them for their ongoing contribution to our industry.”
Destination North Coast general manager Michael Thurston said the awards highlighted the region’s tourism sector.
“Our tourism industry is built on passionate people who continually go above and beyond to create memorable visitor experiences.” Thurston said.
“These finalists represent the very best of the North Coast visitor economy. Their commitment to excellence not only enhances the visitor experience but also supports local jobs, businesses and communities across the region.
“We are proud to recognise their achievements and celebrate the contribution they make to the ongoing success of North Coast tourism.”
The North Coast Regional Tourism Awards form part of the NSW Tourism Awards program. The program includes entrant support through webinars, mentoring and draft reviews designed to assist businesses with their submissions.
