Northern Rivers residents will have an opportunity to hear how local health services are performing and raise questions about the priorities affecting health care in their communities.
The Northern NSW Local Health District will hold its Annual Public Meeting online from 10am on Tuesday, 29 September 2026.
The meeting will provide residents with an update on the district’s performance and achievements over the past 12 months, along with its priorities and plans for health services across the region in the year ahead.
Northern NSW Local Health District Chief Executive Tracey Maisey and Board Chair Peter Carter will deliver presentations outlining the district’s performance against key measures and its future strategic direction.
“The Annual Public Meeting is a chance for us to share our year’s performance, achievements, and future plans,” Maisey said.
“It’s also a great opportunity for people to ask questions and gain insights about local health priorities.”
Residents can submit questions ahead of the meeting, giving the community an opportunity to seek information about the health services and priorities that matter to them.
The virtual meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams.
