Community groups in Coffs Harbour have until 8 May to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for grants of up to $100,000 to deliver local projects.
Member for Coffs Harbour Gurmesh Singh said the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership (CBP) program has $450,000 allocated specifically to the Coffs Harbour electorate.
Funding is available for:
- capital works to upgrade existing or build new community infrastructure in Coffs Harbour
- purchase of freestanding equipment to support local community services
- purchase of registered vehicles to assist service delivery across the region
“The Community Building Partnership Program is designed to fund meaningful local projects in our community – projects like refurbishing sports grounds and clubhouses, making community halls more accessible, or improving our public spaces,” Singh said.
“We’re looking for the great ideas and initiatives which can make a real difference to people’s lives.
“This program is also about helping to provide the infrastructure to support more vibrant and more inclusive communities.”
Under the $41 million statewide CBP program, eligible not-for-profit organisations and Coffs Harbour-based councils and community groups are invited to submit an EOI by 5pm on Friday, 8 May.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the end of June, with successful projects expected to be announced in early 2027.
