A new group called Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action are taking legal action to appeal the decision to allow the Whitehaven Narrabri coal mine to be expanded.

Whitehaven Coal is celebrating their achievement of more than 5000 days without a lost time injury – 60 months free of total recordable injuries dating back to the opening of the facility in 2010.
