BAY FM is turning up the volume this summer with a special event at The Beach Hotel’s Shack venue, promising a vibrant mix of music, community, and fundraising.
On Thursday 11 December, from 3pm to 11pm, The Shack will host BAY VIBES—a back-to-back DJ beach party featuring 16 of BAY FM’s own presenters, guest artists, and local favourites. The event doubles as a community celebration and a fundraising push towards the station’s $35,000 goal, marking 35 years of broadcasting.
The all-star DJ line-up includes:
Kate Monroe, Lainie Godiva, G.I. Jode, Danu, Abel Toro, Balasko, Lippo, Peppin, Sammy KC, Pedro, Andrea Jones, Andrew Haig, Jason Lewis, DJ Peach, Danco, and Ilias the Greek.
Attendees can also enjoy a community raffle and the signature beachfront vibes of one of Byron’s most iconic venues. Entry proceeds go towards keeping the beloved local station on the airwaves for years to come.
