PCYC clubs across the North Coast have recorded thousands of members and youth program attendances as part of a record-breaking year for the organisation across NSW.

The figures were released in the PCYC NSW 2025 Impact Report, which found the organisation generated $7.76 in economic, health and social benefits for every dollar invested.

PCYC Port Macquarie recorded the region’s largest membership base with 9,338 club members and 427 attendances through the Fit for Life fitness and mentorship program.

PCYC Newcastle recorded 3,909 members and 442 Fit for Life attendances, while PCYC Grafton recorded 3,380 members and 513 attendances.

PCYC Tweed Heads recorded 2,896 members and 478 attendances, while PCYC Taree recorded 2,292 members and 2,750 Fit for Life attendances.

Statewide, PCYC NSW said it positively impacted more young people than ever before in its 89-year history, with more than 13,000 young people participating in programs focused on employability, leadership, wellbeing and community connection.

PCYC NSW CEO Ben Hobby said the organisation’s youth programs continued to deliver strong social outcomes for communities.

“83 per cent of participants in our Fit for Work program who were previously disengaged were successfully connected into work or education,” Mr Hobby said.

“When young people are given the right opportunities and mentors, the impact is felt not only by the young people themselves, but also their families and the wider community.”

The report also found PCYC NSW recorded more than one million club visits during 2025 across its 64 clubs statewide.
