Regional Australia Bank backs Curryfest, Chillifest, and Blues and Berries

Woolgoolga’s Blues and Berries festival, Curryfest, and Sawtell Chillifest have a new backer, with Armidale-based Regional Australia Bank signing on as Principal Community Partner of Another Tasty Event.

The deal comes just days before this Sunday’s Woolgoolga Blues and Berries festival.

The member-owned bank will support some of the Coffs Coast’s best known community events, including Woolgoolga Curryfest and Sawtell Chillifest.

Together, the events showcase the Coffs Coast’s food, culture, and creativity, create opportunities for local businesses, producers, and performers, and bring residents and visitors together.

“Strong regional communities are built by the people, businesses and organisations that call them home, and events like these play an important role in bringing them together,” said Regional Australia Bank Senior Manager Kim Burraston.

“As a member-owned regional bank, we believe in supporting the communities that support us.”

“This partnership is about more than great events. It’s about creating opportunities for local businesses, celebrating what makes our region special and helping our communities thrive.”

“Great regional events are built on strong community partnerships. They bring people into our towns, showcase local talent and create opportunities for businesses and producers,” said Another Tasty Event’s Carl Mower.

“Having Regional Australia Bank alongside us as Principal Community Partner helps us continue delivering experiences that celebrate everything the Coffs Coast has to offer.”

Locally owned Another Tasty Event has been running community events across the Coffs Coast for more than seven years.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two organisations and will support the event company’s program through to 30 June 2027.

Blues and Berries will bring live blues music, local food, produce, and entertainment to Woolgoolga Beach Reserve on Sunday, 1 November.
